Biography / Presentation
I am passionate about software engineering. Especially project management and development lifecycle methodologies, and I like to apply, practice, and encourage them. I try to create environments where there is a balance between contract and communication actions. Effective documentation over exhaustive documentation and direct communication and practical agreements over emails and extensive meetings. The Agile current responds to many of these premises. But there are many aspects of so-called outdated methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, that I find essential and I think can coexist perfectly with Agile. Clear rules, delegation of responsibilities, scope and clear objectives are some examples of good practices of traditional methods with many years of experience. In addition to studying and implementing methodologies, I obviously practice them in projects that I am entrusted with as a project manager, scrum master, product owner or whatever is useful. In all these projects, regardless of the status quo of the organization, I try to apply an expansive and participatory view of project management. PRINCE2 Certified Practitioner for APM Group. Professional Scrum Master for Scrum.org and Product Owner certified for Scrum.org. Computer consultant for more than 20 years in the management of software construction projects, implementation, PMO and implementation of ICT management strategies in organizations. Master in Education and ICT (eLearning) from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Higher Computer Engineer from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). For a few years I was a teaching collaborator on the Master's in Education and ICT (eLearning), in the specialties of Technical-Pedagogical Design and Final Master's Thesis (TFM) at the UOC.
