This training invites you to work in a practical way with one of the most popular platforms for content creation on the market: Canva. You will create your own educational materials for your classroom: presentations with graphics, exercises, informative and promotional posters and much more. You will do it with a simple tool like Canva and with the guidance and supervision of an expert in the field.
Specific goals | Temary
CERTIFICATE: This training is open to everyone and is recognized by the Department of Education and Vocational Training. Teachers can obtain a certificate of 20 training hours from the Department if they attend 80% of the synchronous hours and satisfactorily complete the activities.
OBJECTIVES
- Get to know the software working environment and learn to use it logically.
- Learn the workflow to follow with Canva to achieve results.
- Know how to work with the software libraries as well as external elements to give a visually appealing form to different materials.
- Understand the basic concepts related to graphic design.
- Export projects in different formats.
- Learn how to customize the software templates.
- Learn to create different types of educational materials.

- Challenge 1: Didactic and interactive activities
- Demonstration with examples of creating activities, exercises, schedules, and tables.
- Guided practice:
- How to choose the most suitable templates.
- Customization of graphic and textual elements.
- Editing tables.
- Creating printable and interactive activities.
- Challenge 2: The project poster
- How to structure an informative or promotional poster for your projects, activities, or events. We analyze a good example.
- Guided practice with Canva templates to create an attractive and effective poster: tips, editing images and graphic elements, AI, call to action...
- We share the work done and discoveries.
- Tips and tricks for working with documents for printing.
- Challenge 3: Video creation and editing
- Key aspects for editing videos with Canva. Examples and possibilities.
- Guided practice with templates to create videos: interface, transitions, sound, editing and exporting.
- We share the work done and discoveries.
- Tips and tricks for recording and editing videos.
- Challenge 4: Creating an attractive presentation
- Creating a presentation with charts, tables, and multimedia elements for the classroom.
- Guided practice with presentation templates: styles, animations, transitions, navigation, and collaboration.
- We share the work done and discoveries.
- Explanation of the final work to obtain the certificate of completion.
Editions
General information
>> Any of the training actions of Cibernàrium may be recorded through an image capture system that aims to subsequently disseminate them through a medium or support within the scope of the mission of Barcelona Activa to contribute to economic promotion and employment. In the recording process, images of attendees may eventually be recorded. Registration for Cibernàrium activities implies authorization for Barcelona Activa to use these images for the aforementioned purpose.
>> The language in which each session is conducted is informed in the description of each activity.
>> Entry to the classroom will not be allowed after 15 minutes once the activity has started.
>> In case the format is virtual via streaming, it will be carried out through the free platform Microsoft Teams. Registered individuals will receive the invitation link and access instructions by email before the session starts.
