The biggest event for digital talent is back! A fantastic chance for talented techies and programmers. Over 80 people, including students and mentors, will come together to promote creativity and innovation in the tech world.
This year we're making it even bigger with a hackathon and a datathon held at the same time. An intense two-day challenge to create, analyse and surprise. If you like working in a team, solving real problems and putting your skills to the test, this is for you!
Registration formWhat is a hackathon?
It is a programming marathon where multidisciplinary teams create a real-world technological solution in record time.
This year's event is geared towards people with a web development background (Frontend and Backend), who will choose one of three challenges to work on throughout the day.

What is a datathon?
This is a data analysis challenge. Teams work with real data sets to draw conclusions, generate insights, or build predictive models.
It is designed for data analysis and data science professionals.

HOW ARE THE TEAMS ORGANISED?
To take on the hackathon challenges, six teams of six people will participate. Each group will include three front-end professionals and three back-end professionals.
As for the datathon challenges, six teams of three people will take part, all with a background in data science and analysis.
The challenges will be adapted to each speciality so that each group can focus on what it does best.
A total of 54 people will be working simultaneously to find creative and innovative solutions to the challenges. Each team will also have the constant support of mentors, who will guide the participants throughout the process to ensure the best possible result.
HACKERS
• Frontend developer: responsible for building the visible part of a web page (design, structure, colours, etc.) and works with technologies such as Angular and React.
• Backend developer: responsible for programming the part of the web that is not visible with technologies such as Node.js and Java. It focuses on all the functions offered by the web and databases.
• Data analyst: Responsible for cleaning, analyzing and interpreting data to extract insights that drive decisions in organisations. He or she integrates analytical and statistical skills to uncover relevant patterns.
To participate, you must register and take a short technical test. The teams will be made public on the day itself, first thing in the morning, during registration.
MENTORS
The role of the mentor is to guide and help the teams, if necessary, at some point during the day, as well as to observe and evaluate the teams both in terms of soft skills and hard skills. He or she will also be part of the jury to choose the winning team after the presentations. The criteria that will be evaluated are teamwork, code quality, design, presentation, functionality and originality, impact and potential.
