Coneix alguns dels trucs i consells per a la captura fotogràfica i el retoc gastronòmic i descobreix les seves possibilitats plàstiques. Analitzarem les tècniques de processat mitjançant dispositius mòbils i oferirem algunes pinzellades de postproducció de fotografia reflex per tal de corregir alguns errors, aplicar estratègies creatives i millorar el resultat final. Gastronomy is a topic that arouses interest and is continuously on the rise both on the part of professionals and amateurs, even reaching to create categories, such as that of food bloggers, endless culinary hashtags and even websites specialized in photographic exchange. Given the wide scope of this area, in this master class we aim to facilitate some of the strategies, software, tricks and tips in order to increase the quality of food photographs, from the shot to the final image, with special emphasis on retouching tools.
CONTENTS
- Introduce the general characteristics of gastronomic photography, as well as the different sectors both professional and amateur.
- Offer some tips and tricks for taking pictures in order to minimize mistakes, create visual interest, encourage creativity and control the focus of interest.
- Define the workflow of capturing and retouching using mobile devices and software apps free.
- Mention the workflow of capturing and retouching with a reflex camera using proprietary software for desktop and/or portable devices
- Detect and correct the most common technical and tonal imperfections of captured photographs.
- Present the methodologies and strategies that allow to improve the final results and enhance the most relevant aspects.
