Disinformation is a problem that deeply affects society and the democratic system.
It spreads easily through social networks and other digital platforms, contributing to polarization and an increase in hate speech.
Many fake news stories are designed to manipulate public opinion and create division, undermining trust in institutions and hindering constructive dialogue.
To counter this, it is essential to learn to identify false information and consume content critically. This means distinguishing reliable sources, analyzing the context of the news, and avoiding the dissemination of unverified content.
Responsibility is not only individual but also collective: as a society, we must promote a healthier informational environment, fostering media literacy and debate based on verified facts.
If we want to break the vicious cycle of disinformation, we must adopt concrete strategies such as demanding greater transparency from digital platforms, advocating for regulations that protect the quality of information, and avoiding the spread of manipulated content.
