Formació tecnològica amb programari lliure al Canòdrom
Critical technology training at the Canòdrom for Digital Innovation
The Canòdrom is located at the Ateneu for Digital and Democratic Innovation, on the site of the former greyhound racing track, in the Sant Andreu district. The classrooms have natural light, 12 desktop computers equipped with free and open-source software, and a digital interactive whiteboard for the teaching staff. This space has a maximum capacity of 12 participants.
It is the only space where basic technological training based on free and open-source software is offered: from understanding how your computer and mobile devices work to learning how to browse the Internet and use email, all with alternatives to corporate software. A wide range of activities is available, usually delivered in multi-session formats lasting 2 hours and scheduled in blocks. This space encourages learning about technology from a critical perspective, with the aim of raising awareness of our digital rights—and responsibilities as well.
