Do you have a smartphone or tablet and want to make the most of it? If you already know how to use your device but want to deepen the possibilities it offers, security tools, permission management, location tools, App permissions and much more, in this workshop you will go beyond the basic use of your device and you will gain confidence in the use of this tool.
General objectives of the activity:
- To give tools to users of smartphones and tablets the information and knowledge necessary to be able to use these devices safely.
- Exemplify how we can use smartphones to facilitate certain tasks in your day to day.
Specific objectives
- You will learn to work with your device safely
- You will discover what cookies are, the permissions of the applications and how to manage them.
- You will know how to act in the event of loss or theft
- You will understand that it is GPS location, how to activate or disable it, how to memorize a route or how to plan it.

This activity is taught in the Antenes Cibernàrium located in the multimedia spaces of the Biblioteques de Barcelona network.

Entry to the classroom will not be allowed after 15 minutes of class start.
The language in which each session is taught is informed in the description of each activity.
Any of Cibernàrium¿s training actions may be recorded through an image capture system that aims to disseminate them later through a medium or support in the field of the Barcelona Activa mission to contribute to economic promotion and employment. In the recording process, images of those attending the training can be recorded.
