Learn how to use a spreadsheet and learn about its work environment, with the options to scroll inside it and entering data: menus, formatting cells, status bar, tabs, hiding rows and columns... and also learn to enter basic formulas, ranks, different types of most used functions (numerical, dates, text), relative and absolute references and the name manager, ...
Specific goals | Temary
IMPORTANT: This activity is divided into two sessions. They will be taught virtually in streaming through the free platform Microsoft Teams. The registered people will receive by email, before the first session, a unique link for all the sessions and the access instructions.
Objectives and syllabus
In this activity we will learn the general concepts of spreadsheets, as well as the specific names of them, such as formatting the cells, knowing the most used menus and practice with the work area. We will also learn how to use formulas, functions, ranges... Find out about their characteristics and how to use them with your spreadsheets.
Specific objectives
- Learn to create a spreadsheet
- To know the specific vocabulary (cells, rows, columns, formula bar, work area,...)
- Understand the different menu options that we can find in spreadsheets
- Learn to enter simple mathematical formulas: use of the symbols s, *, ( ) ,...
- To know and understand the different types of data ranges.
- Become familiar with different numerical functions, date and text and their arguments.

General information
In the activities of the Virtual Classroom, all those who have accessed the space in the first 30 minutes of the training will be considered as "assisted". People who join later will be counted as "not assisted" and will not be generated the corresponding certificate.
The language in which each session is taught is informed in the description of each activity.
Any of Cibernàrium¿s training actions may be recorded through an image capture system that aims to disseminate them later through a medium or support in the field of the Barcelona Activa mission to contribute to economic promotion and employment. In the recording process, images of those attending the training can be recorded. Registration for the activities of Cibernàrium implies the authorization of Barcelona Activa to use these images for the previous purpose.
