Gerald Kogler (Austria, 1974) is a computer scientist specializing in digital cartography. His work focuses on the relationships between technology and social transformation, investigating how it materializes in free software and hardware, open data, and data visualization. Develops applications for clients in the cultural, educational and administrative fields. In recent years he has delved into digital cartography, developing applications for various European municipalities and NGOs, including the Historical Charter for the MUHBA and various applications for the WWF.
